Well, I thought that there was no way to salvage October, but it has turned out to be an alright month after all. I think the only reason I am saying that is because I have been on vacation for several days and it feels great! I have to give Matt and I credit for not just being lazy bums the entire time because we totally could be. Our first day off was our first wedding anniversary so we made a special trip to Cranky Al’s where I could eat their tasty waffle bites (chicken breaded in waffle batter with a side of maple syrup, yum!). We saw Halloween that evening, and have just been doing little fun things in between. Went to the bookstore. I’ve taught myself to use a sewing machine so I bought a book to assist with that. He’s been super patient going to craft stores with me. At least I know what I’m going in for!
On today’s agenda was Holy Hill. I saw a sign for Kettle Moraine State Forest. We ended up hiking two miles on the Ice Age Trail. I brought along my new camera and decided to share some moody fall photos.
