I'll forgive Mary for not bringing Hazel this once, but she did have to go write a paper after we went for a nice long walk in the woods. I really need an ILC for days like this when I don't want to lug my DSLR on a hike. I need to hike in the woods behind my house more often. Going with Matt and Mary on Tuesday was a good time. I think I'd get a lot of thinking and photographing done back there. There are so many paths to choose from and since I'm not directionally challenged, I can always find my way back home. Humble brag. I don't think I shared on here because it took me a bit (haha, the day before) to tell my mom, but I'm back to working in the cafe! It's not a bad thing. I'm lead, so I get to train the kiddies on drink making and when people ask if I'm excited, I hide my excitement very well. I could jump for joy. I've been a barista/had barista experience for nearly nine years! I'm learning new things and sometimes, you just need a change of scenery. I love where I work and the people I work with so it'd be hard for me to leave. Ah, done with the sap-fest. And so this all ties in, I get to work with Mary for the first time Friday, which is pretty baller, for sure.
The weather was perfect for a walk on Tuesday, but it is even cooler today. The sky looks different, as though the changing of the month changed the way the sky looks and the sunlight at sunset. It's going to be a beautiful fall. I'm ready for it!
Photo by Mary, edit by me using VSCO cam. It's pretty much my favorite phone photo-editing software, although I wish it saved to the phone and saved changes a little bit faster. Can't have it all.
