a bit of an afterglow

Two posts in one day? I suppose I am fulfilling my goal to start blogging more. I even am trying to plan posts in advance. I need to keep my mind occupied. It is seriously the only way to beat the winter blues. Oh, that and watching Parks and Recreation on Netflix. Yep. I had never watched an episode until two months ago, Laura was in town and we were hanging out with Matt. We decided to watch a tv show so that way, if we grew tired, we could finish the episode and be all good. Matt was the only one of us who watches Parks and Rec and was shocked that we didn't watch it. It cracks me up. I love it! Almost done with the second season already.

Onto this post: It's crazy how one person can effect so many lives! Elsie Larson of A Beautiful Mess posted on her instagram that she was using the Afterglow app. Within a few hours, afterglow experiments were popping up all over instagram. I, of course, was sucked in by another wonderful selection by Elsie and it was only $.99! I'm having a lot of fun with it and look forward to more experiments in the future.

* Side-note: I am in no way saying that people are incapable of finding apps on their own and that they are just sheep that follow what others do. Some were probably intrigued by her instagram (like me), but I thought it was an interesting coincidence.

  1. I've heard of Parks and Recreation but I've never watched it. I may have to give it a go. I'm always looking for new shows to watch other than reality tv which seems to be on every channel. -_-
