blissful blogging

I've been perusing this book for a while on my breaks. A lot of the blogs listed in there are interesting and crafty. It gives advice on having a creatively stimulating blog. Sometimes, I do feel like writing a post is kind of like homework. I never really know what to say to go with my pictures. I start to babble about my day a lot, but it's not very interesting. It also has a few HTML tips in there, as well as some design ideas. I guess inspired by all the blog reading that I do, I re-vamped [again]. I can't help it. I see other headers and buttons and layouts and I want my blog to be better. It's not necessarily envy, but I want others to be inspired by my blog just as much as I'm inspired by others (does that make sense?).

As you can see, I didn't go for my normal method of editing. Normally, I utilize layering for my editing. This time around, I played around with curves some more. I still prefer my layering method, although it takes a little bit more time. However, since I am used to it, it doesn't take very long. Curves seem to take a little bit longer because I don't like the way that they turn out. I don't know. Here I am rambling about editing, now.

Onto something else: Like I said, I made a new button. I placed it at the end of this entry, as well as in my sidebar. Hope everyone had a great Thursday! I'm so glad it's Friday tomorrow.

  1. LOOKING good! love love love the new header! Love the colors you achieved and all! <3

  2. It took me a long time to come to that header. I even drew a Holga to possibly use, but maybe I could use it in the future.
